Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

"Booking Request" means a request submitted by a Customer through the Platform to book Professional Services with a Contractor, which is forwarded via email notification without payment processing.

"Customer" means any person who has registered with CVmatograph to become a Member to request bookings for Professional Services via the Platform.

"CVmatograph Ltd" is a private limited company registered in Scotland, with company number SC689708 and registered at 87 Pennywell Gardens, Edinburgh, EH4 4TF.

"Contractor" means an individual professional who has registered with CVmatograph to create a Contractor Profile and offer Professional Services on the Platform.

"Contractor Profile" means a complete and accurate description of the Contractor including qualifications, experience, licenses, certificates, and Professional Services offered, along with availability and pricing information.

"Member" means any Customer or Contractor who has completed CVmatograph's registration process.

"Professional Services" means treatments, therapies, styling and other services offered by Contractors, which must be legal, safe and comply with these Terms.

"Platform" or "Site" means the CVmatograph website and associated services.

"we", "us", or "our" means CVmatograph Ltd.

"you" and "your" means you as a Contractor, Customer or user.

2. Platform Overview

2.1 Service Description

CVmatograph operates as a booking request platform that connects Customers with beauty and wellness professionals. We facilitate booking requests through email notifications but do not process payments or charge booking fees.

2.2 No Payment Processing

CVmatograph does not process payments for bookings
All financial arrangements are made directly between Customers and Contractors
We do not charge booking fees or transaction fees for booking requests

2.3 Booking Request Process

Customers submit booking requests through the Platform
Booking requests are forwarded to Contractors via email notification
Contractors and Customers communicate directly to confirm arrangements and payment

3. Registration and Accounts

3.1 Eligibility

Only individuals aged 18 or over with full legal capacity may register.

3.2 Account Requirements

One account per person or entity
Accurate and complete information required
Valid email address mandatory for booking notifications
Regular updates to profile information required

3.3 Professional Requirements

Contractors offering services requiring professional licenses or insurance must maintain valid credentials and are prohibited from offering services without proper authorization.

4. Booking Requests

4.1 Customer Responsibilities

Submit accurate booking request information
Communicate directly with Contractors for confirmation
Arrange payment directly with Contractors
Respect Contractors' cancellation policies

4.2 Contractor Responsibilities

Respond promptly to booking request notifications
Maintain accurate availability and pricing information
Handle all booking confirmations and payments directly with Customers
Set and communicate clear cancellation policies

4.3 Platform Role

CVmatograph's role is limited to:

Facilitating booking requests through email notifications
Maintaining the Platform for profile management
Providing communication tools (where available)

5. Fees and Charges

5.1 No Booking Fees

CVmatograph does not charge fees for booking requests or successful bookings.

5.2 Subscription Fees

Contractors may be charged subscription fees for premium Platform features as clearly disclosed during registration.

5.3 Direct Payment Arrangements

All payments for Professional Services are arranged directly between Customers and Contractors. CVmatograph is not involved in these transactions.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

6.1 Booking Cancellations

Cancellation policies are set by individual Contractors
Customers must communicate cancellations directly with Contractors
CVmatograph is not responsible for cancellation disputes

6.2 Platform Refunds

Subscription fees may be refunded according to our refund policy
No refunds apply to booking requests (as no booking fees are charged)

7. Liability and Disclaimers

7.1 Platform Disclaimers

CVmatograph does not verify Contractor credentials, qualifications, or service quality
We make no warranties about Professional Services
The Platform is provided "as is" without guarantees of availability or error-free operation

7.2 Limited Liability

CVmatograph's liability is limited to Platform-related issues only. We are not liable for:

Quality or delivery of Professional Services
Payment disputes between Customers and Contractors
Cancellation or scheduling conflicts
Any damages arising from direct arrangements between parties

8. Content and Intellectual Property

8.1 User Content

Users retain ownership of their content
Users grant CVmatograph license to display content on the Platform
Users must ensure content is accurate, legal, and appropriate

8.2 Platform Content

All Platform content, design, and functionality remain the intellectual property of CVmatograph.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Provide false or misleading information
Engage in illegal activities
Circumvent the Platform for direct contact (initially)
Post inappropriate or offensive content
Interfere with Platform operation

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Termination

11.1 Account Termination

Either party may terminate account access at any time. CVmatograph reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations.

11.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, access to the Platform ceases immediately, though direct arrangements between Customers and Contractors may continue independently.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Platform Disputes

Disputes regarding Platform functionality should be directed to CVmatograph support.

12.2 Service Disputes

Disputes regarding Professional Services must be resolved directly between Customers and Contractors.

13. Changes to Terms

CVmatograph may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Scottish law, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Scottish courts.
