In 2010, Charley began her journey of helping women (and a few men) feel extra fabulous. After a brief stint in recruitment that wasn’t for her and over a year of traveling until her funds ran dry, she found herself back home with no job, no savings, and no clear plan. That’s when inspiration struck, and WINK by Charley was born.

The adventure officially started in early 2018, with WINK opening its first location in Radlett by April. It became a vibrant hub filled with color, glitter, creativity, and a mission to empower clients to feel their absolute best. However, the beauty industry faced an unexpected challenge in 2020 when the pandemic hit, turning things upside down. During this time, Charley painted press-on nails by hand to keep her dream alive and wondered if WINK would make it through.

Fast forward three years, and not only did WINK survive—it thrived! Rebranded as WINK Beauty, the business blossomed into a luxurious pink haven on Whetstone High Street. The ethos of WINK Beauty is straightforward yet powerful: to deliver high-quality, luxurious treatments in a space where clients feel safe, relaxed, and surrounded by friends.

At WINK, the bond between a client and their beauty professional—be it a lash lady, brow boss, or nail ninja—is cherished. These connections are more than skin-deep, offering both the physical and emotional tools to take on life. And if all else fails, Charley’s adorable pooch, Sydney, is ready to work her magic too!
