re:lax was founded by Katie White, a skilled facialist and nutritional therapist. After struggling with her own skin issues, she found that most solutions were either too harsh, invasive, or expensive. Motivated to offer a better alternative, Katie left her job at a luxury skincare brand with the vision of making effective, natural skincare accessible to everyone.

In 2019, Katie launched re:lax in Hackney, east London, creating an award-winning destination for facials. Her approach, which combines high-performance techniques with natural products, resonated with many, helping clients achieve healthy, glowing skin. In October 2023, she expanded with the opening of the re:lax flagship studio in Borough Yards, London Bridge.
