Dermaplaning Overview
Dermaplaning is an exfoliation technique that removes 2-3 weeks’ worth of dead skin cells. Using a sterile surgical scalpel, the procedure gently shaves the skin’s surface, eliminating the outer layer along with fine 'peach fuzz' vellus hair. This results in noticeably smoother skin and an immediate radiant glow. The manual exfoliation also stimulates cell regeneration and enhances the absorption of skincare products.
Treatment Preparation and Process
To prepare the skin, the treatment includes a double cleanse, toner application, and a light facial massage before performing the dermaplaning. The session concludes with a 10-15 minute collagen mask, followed by serum, moisturizer, and SPF application.
