Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a treatment derived from ancient Africa, China, Japan, Vietnam etc. Fine needles are inserted in specific ways into selected points for therapeutic and preventative purposes. These sites are used to heal the body, offering relief to acute conditions, as well as preventing them from returning. It can help with a number of different issues and in the west it is mostly used for pain (especially back pain, sciatica), migraines, addiction, fertility, pregnancy, period cramps, asthma, stress among many other conditions. When the needles are inserted, a gentle Tui Na/ Shiatsu massage is given without disturbing the needles to help in making the treatment more effective and relaxing.
