What Does Trigger Point Therapy Treat?

When muscles and fascia are strained—whether from sudden impact or chronic stress—they often go into spasm. This spasm reduces blood flow, causes pain, and limits mobility.

In some cases, muscles remain tense for so long that they lose the ability to relax, forming tight "knots" or trigger points. These contractures (small hard bumps in the muscle) can cause:
