KENALOG HAY FEVER INJECTION

The Hay Fever injection is a corticosteroid injection which has anti-inflammatory properties. It contains 40mg of the steroid Triamcinolone which is injected directly into the muscle. It works by suppressing the body’s immune response to histamines and therefore relieving symptoms.
Once the steroid is injected, it slowly leaks from the muscle for three to eight weeks and travels throughout the body, theoretically offering relief from hay fever symptoms. Hay Fever sufferers generally only require one injection in order to provider relief for the entire hay fever season.
