Microneedling

The Skin pen is passed over the area to be treated, and inserts tiny needles into the skin, leaving micro puncture wounds. This triggers the bodies wound healing response and encourages the body to release skin cells in that area. While the body repairs the skin, it increases the production of collagen and elastin, immediately plumping the area, and causing wrinkles to diminish. As the body repairs the skin you will also see scarring, dark marks and sun damage decrease. Micro-needling is also effective for hair regeneration. The process works in much the same way; as the wound healing response takes place, it stimulates blood circulation and increases nutrients reaching the hair follicles, this combined with the stimulation of proteins in the area can result in new hair growth.
