Peels Suitable for All Skin Types – Important Considerations

While peels work for most skin types, you may not be a suitable candidate if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have open wounds, cold sores, or warts on the face
• Have vitiligo
• Are currently sunburned
• Have extremely sensitive skin
• Have any immune deficiencies
• Are allergic to aspirin or salicylates
• Have inflammatory dermatitis
• Suffer from Herpes Type I or II
• Have hydroquinone-related hyperpigmentation

Can You Wear Makeup After a Peel?

We recommend avoiding all products and creams on the treated area for at least 24 hours post-treatment for optimal results.

How to Prepare for Your Peel Treatment

One week before your peel, avoid these on the treatment area:

• Laser hair removal
• Tanning (both natural and artificial)
• Electrolysis or waxing
• Depilatory creams
• 100% ethyl alcohol-based products
• Exfoliating products
• Irritating facial treatments (like dermaplaning)
• All Retinoid/Retin-A products
