Deep tissue Ayurvedic Yoga Massage

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a futon-based treatment that allows therapists to effectively use body weight for applying pressure. The technique incorporates multiple contact points including:

• Hands
• Feet
• Forearms
• Knees

This versatility enables adaptation to clients requiring deeper pressure while maintaining a comfortable experience that avoids any "pokey" sensation or tissue bruising.

We combine Ayurvedic powder with massage oil, which provides:

• Gentle exfoliation for enhanced relaxation
• Better grip for deeper, more effective strokes

Our approach includes preparatory mobilizations before deep pressure to:

• Maximize muscle relaxation
• Teach the body to accept pressure
• Extend the massage benefits

After softening tissues, we incorporate stretching to:

• Promote tissue lengthening
• Enhance the therapeutic experience
• Prolong the positive effects
