PAEDIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPY

Paediatric physiotherapy is focused on treating the full range of conditions that can affect a child’s functional movement, whether the cause is physiological or neurological in origin. Our service offers physiotherapy assessment and treatment to children from 0 to 16 years of age. Our specialist paediatric physiotherapists cover a wide range of paediatric musculoskeletal issues in children. We treat babies with obstetric brachial plexus palsy (OBPP), plagiocephaly, and torticollis and young children with developmental presentations and gait concerns, such as in-toeing. Our physiotherapists treat older children and teenagers following injuries such as fractures, as well as biomechanical conditions like knee pain, back pain and hypermobility. We are also experienced in treating rheumatological conditions such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).
