Pre Care: - Exfoliate Lips with a clean toothbrush twice a day for two days before treatment - Use Blistex Relief Cream for 2/4 days before treatment - Avoid sunbeds for 2 days before treatment - Avoid alcohol for 2 days before and after treatment Healing Process: - 4 -7 Days dry/chapped lips - 10 - 20 days, colour can look to go lighter and slightly disappear under healing skin - 20 - 40 days, colour will start to look brighter - No to minimum swelling for 1-2 days If you have ever suffered with cold sores, tattooing the lips can cause an outbreak. This will not affect the Healed result but can make healing process longer and uncomfortable. If you want to avoid an outbreak, you can buy "Aciclovir" from the "Online Doctor Superdrug or your GP can prescribe a course of 15 tablets to take, starting 5 days before your appointment.
