The acne clearance facial is a non-ablative treatment using IPL light to target acne bacteria in the skin, the laser causes a photodynamic reaction, which destroys the bacteria in the skin. By heating up the capillaries, the light is also absorbed by the blood vessels which supply the sebaceous glands, this reduces the blood flow and decreases the production of oil by the skin.
