Hyperhidrosis - Excessive Sweating - Underarm *Consultation Required*

According to the Hyperhidrosis Society, people who receive Botox injections have found exccessive sweating decreases by more than 85%. The effects happen within 2 weeks of treatment and may last between 6 & 9 months. Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) is common. It's normal to sweat if you get hot or do exercise, but you may be sweating excessively if you're sweating when your body does not need to cool down. Excessive sweating can happen for no obvious reason, it could be another condition you may have, a side effect of a medicine you're taking. If there's no obvious cause for your sweating and nothing else you have tried seems to be helping, then you may be referred to have neurotoxin (such as Botox or Azzalure) injections for sweating under the armpits (this is no longer available on the NHS).
