Pre-Waxing Guidelines

Please avoid sunbeds for 24 hours before waxing and discontinue Retin A products 5 days prior, as these can weaken the skin. For effective waxing, hair should be at least 0.5cm long (typically 3-4 weeks of growth).

Post-Treatment Expectations

• Redness is normal after hair removal
• Small bumps and mild soreness may occur, especially for first-time clients
• These reactions typically fade within 24-48 hours

About Skin Grazing

Waxing may occasionally cause skin grazing (skin lifting), resembling a knee scrape. Note that:

• Often mistaken for burns
• May not appear immediately (sometimes emerging 1-2 days post-treatment)
• Can result from compromised skin due to environmental factors, chemicals, or foreign substances like pollen or artificial fragrances
