Medium area includes : Arms (bingo wings) , Bra strap. Aqualyx is a non surgical fat dissolving treatment used to eliminate small, stubborn pockets of fat which resist diet and exercise. Aqualyx is made up of deoxycholic acid, which once injected reduces the fat cells in that area. Deoxycholic acid is a manmade version of a secondary bile acid which are byproducts of intestinal bacteria. It disrupts and breaks down fat cells which causes an inflammatory response with the are being injected. Your body then clears out destroyed fat cells following the treatment. The number of treatment that you may need will vary from person to person and the area that is being treated along with the amount of fat in the area. Generally, 2-3 sessions are recommended for small areas such as the chin and anywhere from 2-8 sessions for larger areas such as the abdomen or thighs.
