Bikini Waxing Explained

A bikini wax is a cosmetic treatment designed to remove hair from the pubic area. It can vary from the classic bikini shape, which ensures no hair is visible outside the underwear line, to the Hollywood wax, which removes all pubic hair completely.

There are four main bikini wax styles:

• Standard bikini wax
  This style leaves a neatly shaped upside-down triangle of hair, making sure no hair extends beyond the underwear line at the top of the thighs.
• High/extended bikini wax
  Similar to the standard style but removes more hair, resulting in a smaller, more defined triangle shape.
• Brazilian wax
  Often called “the landing strip,” this wax removes almost all pubic hair except for a small, tidy strip at the front. Hair is also removed between the legs and around the buttocks area.
• Hollywood wax
  This style involves complete removal of all pubic hair from the front, between the legs, and through the buttocks, offering a full hair-free result.
