Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu (finger (shi) pressure (atsu)) is a Japanese form of thumbs acupressure along the body's meridians (in traditional Chinese medicine, the meridians are channels in the body believed to conduct chi, or elemental forces). Shiatsu can also incorporate palm pressure and stretching. Some of the conditions that respond well to Shiatsu include: neck and shoulder stiffness, back pain, joint dysfunction, injuries, headaches, digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems disorders, mild depression, mental and emotional difficulties, anxiety, and pre-menstrual symptoms. The treatment is performed on the futon.
