Soak-Off Technique for Nail Polish Removal

The soak-off method is an effective technique for removing gel polish, dip powder, or stubborn traditional nail polish. This gentle process dissolves the product while minimizing damage to your natural nails.

File the top layer of polish to break the seal
Soak cotton pads in acetone
Place soaked cotton on nails
Wrap each finger with aluminum foil
Wait 10-15 minutes for polish to soften
Gently remove residue with a wooden stick

For best results, apply cuticle oil afterward to replenish moisture. This method works particularly well for professional salon applications that require complete removal.
