If your unhappy with the results of a filler treatment or when there are complications such as a vascular occlusion then a dissolve may be necessary. Hyaluronidase is used directly into the area containing the hyaluronic acid filler. The enzyme works by breaking down the hyaluronic acid molecules into smaller components. After the injection, the process of dissolution begins. It may take some time for the enzyme to break down the filler material, and the extent of the wait may depend on the specific filler used. *please note a patch test is required 48 hours before.
