What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that uses tiny, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates your body's natural healing response, triggering increased production of collagen and elastin proteins. These essential proteins work to repair and rejuvenate your skin, resulting in a more youthful appearance. This treatment is also known as collagen induction therapy.

Once the area is properly numbed, your practitioner will use a specialized device - either a pen-like tool or derma roller - equipped with fine needles. This device is gently moved across your skin, creating tiny punctures that may cause minimal bleeding. Following the treatment, your provider may apply therapeutic serums or creams to enhance healing and results.
