Sclerotherapy is a procedure used to treat spider veins. It involves the injection of a solution, known as a sclerosant, into the affected veins.
The sclerosant irritates the inner lining of the veins, causing them to collapse and stick together. Over time, the collapsed veins are gradually reabsorbed by the body, fading away and improving the appearance of the skin.
Sclerotherapy is known for its effectiveness in reducing the symptoms and cosmetic concerns associated with leg veins.
