Combination Microblading & Shading Treatment Pre-Treatment Guidelines for Semi-Permanent Makeup

Following these essential pre-care instructions will help ensure optimal results and reduce potential complications for your microblading appointment:

Important Items to Avoid: Skincare Products & Professional Treatments:

• Discontinue all AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) skincare products and facial peels at least two weeks prior to your appointment.
• Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments, and dermabrasion procedures for a minimum of six weeks before treatment.
• Schedule no facial injections (including Botox, dermal fillers, or skin boosters) within one month before or after your procedure.

Medications & Dietary Supplements:

• Stop taking Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, Vitamin E, and other blood-thinning medications or supplements for at least 24 hours before treatment (continue only if medically prescribed by your physician).

Food & Beverage Restrictions:

• Eliminate alcohol, coffee, and all caffeinated drinks for 24 hours before your appointment, as these substances can heighten sensitivity and increase bleeding risk.
• Avoid consuming hot or spicy foods on your treatment day.

Sun Protection:

• Minimize excessive sun exposure and avoid tanning before your procedure.
