PRP Gold with added Biotin for Hair

PRP otherwise known as Platelet Rich Plasma is obtained from the clients own blood. We use PRP systems to obtain a high yield of platelets with added Biotin (found in some foods and supplements) with aims to aid and support actions of PRP. The centrifuged blood sample will be separated into several layers (red blood cells/PRP/platelet poor plasma). PRP is drawn from the separated layers. This concentration of platelets contains growth factors that are vital to initiate and accelerate tissue repair and regeneration. The growth factors in PRP help to create thicker hair in the anagen phase (hair growth phase) whilst supporting blood vessels that surround the hair follicles. Typical initial treatment will be 3 sessions over 3-4 months initially with a maintenance session every 3-6 months as deemed appropriate when discussed with clinician.
