Upper temporal filler

Usually only a small amount of filler is used to inject the upper lids per treatment session. However, due to caution and the difficulties with fine skin in this area, it is very common for at least 3 treatments to be necessary to achieve optimal results. The doctor will assess the face and decide on the best dose after taking a history and examining the patient. With upper lids, a typical way to plan is to inject a small amount every month until they reach the point where the doctor and patient is satisfied. Pain relief during upper lid filler treatment A topical numbing cream (eg EMLA or LMX ) may be applied, but it is usually unnecessary due to cannula use. If a cannula is used, local anaesthetic may be used prior to the cannula being introduced into the skin.
